Sarnia Artists Workshop
A group of people who share a common interest in the study and promotion of visual arts.  Its members not only mentor and encourage each other but also work together to foster the advancement of visual arts in the community.

Winter Wednesdays   Jan - Apr

This is a program that is held on Wednesday afternoons from January to April for SAW members.  Each week a new topic is presented by an artist in our community, who demonstrates his/her area of expertise.  Most of the workshops are hands on, but sometimes we do something different, like taking a guided tour of Gallery Lambton.

Art in the Park

SAW Members participate in a show and sale at the Gallery in the Grove's annual "The Villages of Art in the Park" in September. View Slideshow from 2009 show

Art at the Lake    SAW's Annual Show and Sale, November of each year

"Art at the Lake" is our way of celebrating the year's progress.  Members are invited to show and sell their work at the Sarnia Riding Club in a two and one half day show and sale held each November.  Displays include original paintings, pottery, prints, photography, wood turning and carving, fabric art, jewellery, dried and pressed flowers, stained glass, and basketry. Click here for Photo Gallery of 2009 Show
